I live in the other side of the house, fully separate. There are animals around to play with for the children, chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats.

Kersbeek-Miskom is a small village in the Kortenaken municipality of Flemish Brabant — Hageland countryside at its quietest and most beautiful. Rolling hills, apple orchards, forest paths, and the particular golden light that photographers come to this region for.
Brussels is under an hour by car. Leuven — with its university, restaurants, and direct Eurostar connections — is thirty minutes. You are genuinely away, without being far from anything.
A car is necessary to reach the village and to make the most of the surrounding area. This is part of what makes Kriekentuin feel like a true escape rather than an extension of city life.
